We were joined again by Jonny Russell who has been working with us over a year in recording and editing our music and sound recordings. Before we started one of the group managed to repair a ukulele by whittling a tuning peg from a piece of found wood. We pitched up by the Paul Nash sculpture in the morning under the shade of the trees to record various songs and sounds. After our picnic lunch we went into the James Turrell skyspace to experiment with some more sounds, whilst there were no other people around. We also took turns listening with headphones to ambient woodland sounds amplified through a zoom recorder. It was a very rewarding day.
