It was a lovely warm day and we enjoyed relaxing, chatting, writing and drawing together as well as eating our picnic lunch.

It's been so good to be able to physically meet again in a socially-distanced manner in the bandstand. We were blessed with good weather and enough sunshine to carry out experiments with cyanotype paper, which is a photographic process using sunlight and water. Almost 6 months since we were last together. This felt like a real celebration. We met in the bandstand in Morrab Gardens, Penzance where we were protected from the rain whilst being able to socially distance outside. We caught up with each others lives and recorded some percussion sounds. We ate cake that was safely prepared and individually wrapped. We hope to continue to meet in this way, weather permitting, until we are able to return to our indoor base at Breadline. |
"Taking time for the day-to-day reveals a quiet place within oneself where tiny glimmers of inspiration and wonder can emerge which, added one to another, become vital nourishment for the future of humanity."
