Janet McEwan joined us again to make a film with Stephen about his painting process and the way it relates to his interest in music. During the day he played his saxophone for us and also completed a painting he's been working on for a whole year. We celebrated the inclusion of 2 of our group's contributions to the latest St.Petroc's Annual Report and ate a deliciously colourful lunch that Lucy made for us. We also decided on titles of our work, which will be in the exhibition due to open at Truro Cathedral on October 11th organised by St.Petroc's and Jayne Howard.

After such a busy few weeks it was a pleasant change to have a quiet, gentle day and lots of help with the washing up! It's been such a great year of visits to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens and we are most grateful to Drs Neill and Jane Armstrong for allowing us this pleasure. We have made some interesting work over the months and plan to exhibit these alongside our 'Migration' paintings and four videos in our second exhibition at Redwing Gallery 16th - 29th November (opening event 16th November 5.30pm until 7.30pm). "Taking time for the day-to-day reveals a quiet place within oneself where tiny glimmers of inspiration and wonder can emerge which, added one to another, become vital nourishment for the future of humanity."
