We had such a great time! The Acorn was a brilliant venue, super helpful staff and technician. Everyone rose to the occasion and enjoyed performing on stage. We had narration from Nancy who held everything together brilliantly with her words and a powerpoint presentation that included photos and films, edited by Janet. There were musical, poetry and dance performances... everyone shone! Many thanks also to our audience who were so supportive throughout.

As of 31 December, 2023, Roaming will no longer be active as a community interest company. St Petrocs will continue to provide space and materials for making drawings, paintings and plans. Our archive will be https://roamingon.weebly.com (which is live now).
To celebrate our 10 years together and look forward to maintaining the connections, energy and good spirits that were always Roaming, we’re having a party. Please join us at the Acorn Theatre, Penzance, on 18 November, from 7:30. It will be part exhibition, part musical performance, part reminiscence, and part resolution to keep roaming on. For details and tickets, please see the Acorn Theatre website at https://www.theacornpenzance.com/events/roaming-on/ Some photos from July and early September, including a trip to Tremenheere during the late heat wave. As usual we took a break in August. |
"Taking time for the day-to-day reveals a quiet place within oneself where tiny glimmers of inspiration and wonder can emerge which, added one to another, become vital nourishment for the future of humanity."
