Lucy and Laura began the day with an early visit to the allotment to gather salad and veg for lunch and flowers for people to take home. The strange yellow courgette was on the allotment donation table and the couple who had grown it were there when we picked it up and pleased to know it was going to be part of our Roaming meal. Janet McEwan was our visiting artist today and came to work on a film with one of the Roamers. We also had another visitor, a student from America, who Laura met on Sunday and invited along. He arrived at lunchtime, hot and hungry, having walked from Porthcurno. It was great to have him with us. Over lunch Lucy talked to us about some humanitarian work she is about to undertake, which led to a fascinating debate.
